Running news

Sam was 3rd and Max was 5th in this week's cross country run at Bastion.  As well, Sam came 2nd (just behind his buddy Eric) and Max 9th in the first Wild Soles run.

Soccer is underway!

I am coaching Ian this year, and all four kids are once again playing on teams twice a week (more for Sam)!

Sam and Max had soccer, so Ian and I ran with Katy and Ian at this week's wild soles run...

TC10k under 40

This weekend was the Times Colonist 10k and I used it as a chance to try to run my first under 40 minutes.  I started to fall off my pace around km 7-8, but got back on track and finished at 39:25!  Goal accomplished!!!  Mom ran and Dad walked with the Pacers and then we enjoyed a breakfast at Spinnaker's before I headed back to Salmon Arm.  Not bad for a guy with jet lag...  Jimmy Cameron did it in 38:25, so I've got a goal for next year!  I ended up 11th in my age group, and 109th overall.

Sprain not Spring

Poor Darcy sprained her ankle last Monday at the wild soles run!  She had lots of help from Lynne and Ian while I was out in Victoria/Guam...  The best part was when Cole took a look and was shocked at how it made her toes webbed (they've been like that since birth)!

Ready for Scott's wedding!

This weekend was Scott and Aleah's wedding in Lethbridge.  As usual, it was a family event and lots of fun!

This year we headed out to Calgary for Easter, and Spring break.  This was our first look at the new puppies Allie and Claire now have - they are super cute!  Also, the kids checked out the new skateboard park across from Matt and Allie's house.
