BC Champs!

It was quite a weekend for the boys and the Larch Hill Nordic ski team.  Sam got his first podium finish in the Classic ski (fifth) and a sixth place in the skate ski.  Then, his relay team took the gold medal on the last day of the competition.  Max got 2nd and 3rd in his races at the Atom level (but they don't do a podium photo).  We also managed to get some skis in with the kids after the racing was done each day.  I also did a relay race with Tom and John, and felt I did pretty well considering my lack of skiing experience and new skis :)  Next year we'll see how I do after a year of skiing!

Jackrabbits Fun Day!

Today was the last day of Jackrabbits up at Larch Hills, and as usual it was a Fun Day for all of the kids.  The ski team did an early ski and then helped out with the little guys.  Skookum was up as well with some demo skate skis to try out, so Mike and I had some fun heading up to the bog.  Next weekend: BC Championships!
