Max is VIP

Well, it is another year and now Max, Lily, Garett and Daniel are in pre-school at Haysboro.  Today was Max's VIP day so I was on duty.  With my work schedule these days it was tough to fit in a date to be there!

At the park

After a long bike ride over to Ali and Matt's we played at the park for a little while.  The boys are starting to look like a baseball team :)  Rogan is playing the 'Vampire' position !



At the Hatchery

Sunday was a bit blah weather wise, so once the rain stopped we took a group of the kids down to the Kingfisher Interpretive Center where they were letting people help fertilize the Salmon Eggs...

Once water is mixed in with the eggs and sperm it takes about 5s before the eggs start to harden!

Mabel Lake

 Martha and David brought their handmade canoe(s) out for the weekend and took the kids on a fun tour of the lake!

MacKenzie Camp

After driving down to Salmon Arm on Thursday Night, we headed over to MacKenzie Camp on Friday.  It is a spot near Enderby, on Mabel Lake.  We found a frog right away, among other fun things to play on, while we waited on the rest of the 40-some people to arrive.  It was mostly the Ross and Wickett families, with a few others including Trevor and Maureen, and Grace & the kids.
