New Years' Eve

We put the kids down and then celebrated New Year's Eve with my parents and their friends.  Ian was the only one to wake up when the noise makers started.  He woke up a little grumpy and then brought out the smiles for everyone!

Merry Christmas 2011

Ian was looking dapped in his (Rogan's) tux.  He can stand, but not for long - and it taking a few steps.  We had the Karns/Wicketts/Calkins gathered at Ali and Matt's for Christmas Turkey...  Delicious!

Christmas Morning!

The kids' eyes were wide open with anticipation as they opened their stocking and presents from Santa.  Sam slept until almost 9am, though, so it wasn't the stereotypical kids jumping on our bed with excitement at 6am!

As anticipated, the boys loved their hockey pads and gloves...

Christmas Eve Party

This year Dawn and Ryan (and the rest of us) decided to rent the Southwood Community Hall for Christmas eve.  It comes complete with two ice rinks, which added to the fun.  We had a tasty dinner followed by an early birthday celebration for Grandpa Ian...

The weather was nice and warm today and perfect for a skate outside with Grandpa.  Only two more days until Christmas!  Lynne and Ian arrive tomorrow for the big Christmas Eve party...  Looking forward to food, skating, and good times!

Out on the town

It is getting close to Christmas and today I took Sam and Max with me on some weekend errands.  Here are the boys being cute chasing each other around outside a store as we waited to hook up with Eric...  Sam and Max are sporting the new haircuts from the morning when we got the Santa photo of the kids.
