Our first Loppet!

We took part in our first Loppet!  Sam did 5km, Max did two laps and 2km, while Katy did 1km!

Larch Hills Fun Race

Sam had a great race today up at Larch Hills, arriving at the finish line out of breath and sweating!  It was fun to see a mass start, with Sam's age splitting off and completing a 1.5km race...  Sam finished in 10m23s.  The course must have been a lot harder than the time trial last week in Revelstoke, as that is some 4 minutes slower for the same distance, despite going harder!

Sledding with the cousins and friends

We managed to organize the 9 cousins into a morning of sledding followed by lunch, hot chocolate and a movie...

Giant snowman

The snow in Salmon Arm was perfect for snowman building today, so we built a giant snowman!

New Years Day dinner

Since all the kids were dressed up nicely, we tried to get a group shot of all of them before dinner!  Plus it was a treat to eat dinner in Lynne and Ian's house for the first time after their renovation...
