Meet-up at the ferry

After a crazy drive through pouring rain, we made it to the ferry terminal. As usual the 5 hour drive felt somewhat longer - maybe it was the constant 'how much further?' from Sam...

The end of soccer

While the three older boys played soccer for the last time this season, Max managed his way up this weird rope structure for a view over the tops of nearby houses:

Sam taking a shot (hmmm - wonder why he always seems to have just bitten his tongue?):

The boys seem to have enjoyed playing this year, and really liked getting the medals at the end of the game. Sam wore his all the way to Salmon Arm in the car, and still has it out :)

Katy walks!

I guess she decided to wait juuuust until her Grandparents left to try taking more than a step or a two at a time :) She started putting together 2 or 3, and then standing, taking a step, and standing again. At one point she stood up by herself and walked over two steps to hang onto my shorts!

Sky 360

Mom and Dad took us for dinner last night at Sky 360. Good food and a good view - though not everyone was brave enough to stand on the glass!

Heritage Park with the visitors

Grandma, grandpa, Sherrie, John and most of the Ross's took our kids with Darcy to Heritage Park:

Here is some awesome hula-hooping!

Congratulations Mom!

Mom graduated from the Vancouver Island school of Art this weekend, and had her gallery show as well! The ceremony was a good one, with an interesting guest speaker and comments from the graduates too...

Here is her Diploma!

Mom doing her speech!
A couple of examples of her work - note that the wall work really needst to be seen in person as there are germs and bacteria made of wire all over the wall that can't be seen here.

Max and Katy

It is nice to be home again, and the kids smiles make me not want to head out any time soon! No sooner said, than out of town again, I'm in Victoria Sunday for my Mom's graduation from the Vancouver Island School of Art :)
