We had a very nice Christmas Eve tonight. After the boys woke up from their afternoon naps, we dropped off presents at Richard and Lyn's, then headed out to Butchart Gardens for their 12 days of Christmas. We met up with Lori, Peter and Aubrey and toured around after dusk. Then Maureen arrived and we went for dinner at the cafeteria. We followed up by taking Sam skating for the first time on the outdoor rink they have set up. He loved it! He kept going around and saying 'Its my first time'...
After skating, we took Sam over to Darren and Ev's party where he got a present, and he and Max were cute together in matching outfits... When we arrived home Darcy read Sam the Night Before Christmas out of a really cool pop-up book. Sam went straight to sleep.
