The sights and sounds around Revelstoke this weekend were pretty nice as well!

This weekend was one of our first family trips to a swim meet this year.  Sam did great, with several third place finishes and one second.  Max surprised us in his second meet by making it to two A finals in backstroke and 100m freestyle, plus helped the div 1 relay team finish first!  Both Ian and Katy did 4 turtle races each and were super cute on the pool deck!

We camped alongside Sandra/Dave and Carmen/AJ t blanket creek, which was a very family friendly campsite...  Even Darcy and I helped flush out two Sockeyes' parent relay teams!

Leaving the Island

With the party over, we spent a little time in downtown Victoria on Sunday, met with Peter and Lori for Indian buffet at lunch and headed home on the 5pm ferry...

Fishing derby

Max caught his first fish at the kids' derby in Salmon Arm!  It started at 7am and Sam, Max, Olivia and Jocelyn get settled on the dock with a hook and worm.  By 7:08 Max was asking how long he had to wait to catch a fish.  At 7:12 he had one in a net!  Not really learning about patience!

Westlee on a throw in, at their last game of the year.  The kids have their soccer tournament this weekend, so it was fun to watch the U18 team play:

Bubble bath time

We had a gathering of friends last night, and after Jocelyn applied lipstick and hair chalk to all the kids, we arranged a couple of kiddie pools for an outdoor bubble bath!
